Scrapbook Expo

What a fantastic day I had yesterday! Two of my besties and I hit the road early Saturday morning and went to the Pleasanton, CA, Scrapbook Expo. We had so much fun looking, shopping, seeing other friends and (most importantly) laughing and enjoying the day together!

We got some really great deals, saw all kinds of interesting products, and brought home plenty of fun, shiny, and challenging items that we just couldn't live without. AND, we all earned the coveted SBE (Scrapbook Expo) lanyard with four buttons (I Supported, I Shopped, I Returned, and the new Pleasanton 2015 button). We can't wait until Santa Clara Expo to earn MORE buttons to add to our lanyard. We will definitely strive for the I Learned and I Cropped buttons!

I highly recommend going to a Scrapbook Expo near you if you have the chance. Not only are there tons of vendors with a huge variety of products, but there are also vendor Make & Takes and workshops available for all skill levels that you can take for a modest fee to learn how to use their products, make layouts, mini albums, etc. There are also Crops where you bring your own projects to work on.

For more information on them, here is a quick link to their website:  Scrapbook Expo

I'm attaching photos of all my goodies for you to see -- I can't wait to PLAY!!!

Mini Album project kit from Pinecone Press, Carta Bella and Echo Park paper packs (super deal!) and miscellaneous papers (LOVE the typewriter one!)

Felt borders for the Disneyland albums I STILL need to finish (yikes!) and various brads, buttons and bling from Queen & Co.

Rub-on tools (yes, Susan, one is for YOU!!!), a Marvy Snow Marker pen (something new to try!), Pearl Pens, new Stickles colors, Cat In The Hat laser diecuts and ribbon, Ninja Turtle ribbon, chalkboard style embellishment cards and (most exciting) Cats Eye Fluid Chalks (BEST deal of the day!!!)

Bling and Epoxy Dots from Eyelet Outlet and a pkg. of sea shell brads

I really don't know why I bought these other than they were so cute and so different that I just had to have them LOL!  May come in handy some day; hopefully I'll remember where I store them...

Some more awesome laser diecuts, a goldfish bowl Outline Sticker sheet by Krazy Kreations, new precision tweezers, pop dot foam adhesive squares and circles, Dog Tag kit and jewelry kits/images from Craft Fantastic

So there you have it ~ I'm thrilled with my purchases and I can honestly say I don't have one bit of buyer's remorse about anything (not even with the nostalgic graphics LOL)!

Thank you for allowing me to share my Expo excursion with you!

Until next time...Happy Scrapping!
