Fun Christmas Projects

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  We sure did with my family on Christmas Eve.  It's so fun watching all the kids (young and old!) have a good time, enjoy some good food, and having fun playing some Christmas Bunco LOL!

Here are some holiday projects I made leading up to Christmas:

First off I have these fun chipboard ornaments I made that are ready for some pictures to be added to them. These turned out so adorable and I used parts of the Calendar Markers and both Christmas Tags and Peekers sets by Cuddly Cute Designs.  Just look how adorable they are when displayed on a Christmas tree!

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a "thing" for anything and everything SNOWMAN, so it's no surprise that I would make a Snowman Christmas Card! Here is one I made using the Snowman pattern by Cuddly Cute Designs.

Next are some fun Hostess Gifts I made for my 12 table guests at a Champagne Luncheon event that I co-chaired.  These little treats contained four Hershey's Nuggets candies.  The boxes were made from an svg pattern I purchased a while ago from SVG Cutting Files and they were adorned with this beautiful Candy Cane and Poinsettia which are from the Cuddly Cute Designs "Christmas Tags & Peekers Set 1" collection.  I also included a "thank you" card with each one of them that I printed using one of the graphics used for the Luncheon theme, which was "Just Be Claus".  These graphics were purchased online and are from The Daisy Company.

Although not a total paper piecing project, I also wanted to share with you another hostess gift I gave my table guests that I totally "craft-lifted" from Pinterest LOL!  This was such a fun and EASY project. All you need is an inexpensive 3" paintbrush, some paint (I used a barn red color), some buttons, wooden plugs, batting, hot glue gun and a star embellishment (I cut mine out of glitter paper and also chipboard and layered them for stability).  I also used a Pearl Pen to add some snowflakes to my paintbrush handle. These are so adorable and I think they would also make a fun craft project to do with the kids and/or grandkids!

Christmas projects just wouldn't be complete without a scrapbook layout about a visit to see Santa Claus! Here is my two-page layout I made of my grandson with Santa.  I used the "Santa Visit" file and, again, the "Calendar Markers" and "Christmas Tags & Peekers" files by Cuddly Cute Designs for my paper piecings on this layout.  I just love how this turned out and how wonderfully all these different patterns go together.  My pages are topped off with a fun border I made using a Martha Stewart punch and I added some Christmas colored Candi paper brads as ornaments.

Lastly, here is a layout that I've been wanting to make for a couple years now. I've had these two adorable Christmas Cards made of photos of my granddaughters in their "Nutcracker" ballet costumes from two different years that were just screaming to be scrapbooked.  When Cuddly Cute Designs came out with the new "Nutcracker" file I just knew it would be the perfect embellishment I needed for this layout. So here is my "The Nutcracker SWEETS" project I made using the "Nutcracker" file and the Christmas Tree is from the "Calendar Markers" file.

I hope you enjoyed my holiday projects!  Thank you so much for taking the time to check them out!

Until next time ... Happy Scrapping!
