Easter Egg Hunt Fun Layout

Hello, and Happy Friday!  Today I'm sharing my Cuddly Cute Designs Facebook EASTER HOP project which is my two-page layout "Easter Egg Hunt FUN".  Since this was the very first Hop for Cuddly Cute Designs, we decided to offer it only on Facebook this time.  So if you're reading this and didn't know about our Easter Hop and would like to see all our Design Team Easter projects, please be sure to check it out here at Cuddly Cute Designs.  But you'll need to hurry because this is a one-day hop on March 27, 2015!

For my Easter Hop project I created a two-page layout that’s all about having some good ol’ Easter Egg Hunt Fun!

I used several patterns from Cuddy Cute Designs, namely Easter On The Go, Carrot Patch, Egg Hunt, and Scalloped Shapes. These files worked so perfectly together and I had a great time putting my own “spin” on them.

This adorable Chick and Bunny are from
the "Easter On The Go" pattern.

The tree is from the "Carrot Patch" collection.

In addition, I created the words "Easter" and "Fun" for my title in SCAL using a font from my computer.

The "Egg Hunt" title is from the Egg Hunt pattern.  I just love
how the letters are layered over the colorful Easter eggs!

The little patches of grass are also from the Carrot Patch file.
In keeping with my "something old with something new" goal,
I used this yellow Rick Rack ribbon that I've had on hand for at least 6 years!

One of the newer Cuddly Cute Designs pattern sets, the Scalloped Shapes, is an absolute must have! There are five different scalloped shapes that can be sized to fit your scrapbooking or cardmaking needs. The shapes are square, rectangle, circle, banner, and an egg shape (yay!).  For my layout I used the square and rectangle scalloped shapes.

The Carrot Patch file is so adorable!  For my layout I used the bunny, tree, and wheelbarrow.  This file originally has the bunny holding a carrot and the wheelbarrow is full of carrots also, but since this layout is about an Easter Egg Hunt, I simply made eggs instead of carrots.  The eggs are from the Egg Hunt pattern.

I can’t wait to add some pictures to this layout of the grandkids having their own Egg Hunt fun!

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at this layout!  It was really a lot of fun to put together.  If you'd like a closer look at the patterns, the link to the Cuddly Cute Designs website is HERE

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time...Happy Scrapping!

  2. Thank you, Nadia! That is so sweet of you to say! I really had a lot of fun putting this layout together. It didn't start out how it actually ended up being...just sort of kept growing and growing as I was going along, but I love how it turned out also LOL! And thank you for visiting my Blog!
