I Love You Layout

February is almost upon us which means that Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  Today I'm sharing a single page layout I made using the "Heart Flourish Set" by Cuddly Cute Designs.

This cutting file is so beautiful and looks like a lot of work, but it's super easy to make.  Each piece is only three layers and that means your cutting machine does all the work for you!  Since I made these flourishes using a heavier cardstock, I did use the multi-cut function on my machine (Sizzix Eclips) to cut them twice which worked perfectly.  This made weeding and lifting off my cutting mat so easy!  

Here is a closer look at the top flourish:

As you can see, there is a base, then the two side flourishes, and then the three hearts in the middle.  Doesn't get any easier or prettier!

Next are the Heart Frame and Corner flourishes:

Since I was using the Heart Frame on top of patterned paper, I decided to add an additional 'blackout' layer for it so that it would 'pop' on my page instead of just blending in. I did this by simply making a copy of the heart base, selected it and clicked on the "Blackout" tab. Simple dimple!

The Heart Flourish Set is so beautiful and could be used for all sorts of projects from Valentine's Day, a wedding, a new baby, or anything that you want to put your "heart" into!
