My Scraproom

First off I'd like to share where all the "magic" happens...my scraproom.  Believe me when I say this has been an ongoing organizational project for WAY longer than I care to admit, but I think this is the best workable layout that I've ever had.

Here is what you see when you first come through the door.  I absolutely LOVE my built-in counter and the beautiful view I have from the window (thanks neighbors!).  Most of the time I like to stand while working on projects or layouts, so the kitchen counter height is really a back saver. The cabinet under my computer screen is where my printer and scanner are located on pull-out shelves.

Next is my work desk, shelves and stack of drawers which are all from the Ikea Expedit and Alex product lines. Love them!  I have some of my favorite scrapbook page layouts displayed on the wall. Don't you just love the "My Scrapbook Garden" vinyl saying I made above the frames?  The plastic containers on the floor are home to my 8.5x11 size cardstock.

Another view of my work station.  Lots and lots of storage!

This is my Ikea Besta bookcase with adjustable shelves.  It fits perfectly inside my doorway and is just the right depth for all my ArtBin cases and also the perfect width for my Sizzix Eclips.

Last, but not least, is my paper closet.  I'm lucky that this particular room in the house has the deeper closet so all my Iris paper carts and other paper organizing cubes fit in there just right.  My patterned paper is separated by theme (holiday, birthday, baby, etc.) and the 12x12 cardstock is located in the cubes for easy access.  There are more Iris carts to the left against the wall but they are not visible in this photo. They hold embellishments that are also separated by theme.  The shelf holds all my blank chipboard pages and albums and also plastic containers for more miscellaneous embellishments.

Well, that's my scraproom.  Hope you enjoyed the tour!
